Formerly LNER badminton club , they are known as Yehlex. They are a senior badminton club who play in the Northumbria Badminton Association Leagues. Based at Biddick Academy, the club welcomes new players and offers a excellent social environment on club nights.

The club have recently introduced a junior section on a Tuesday night as well.

Club plays on Tuesday at Biddick Academy (Washington, Tyne & Wear, NE38 8AL)

• 6pm – 7pm: Junior club
• 7pm – 10pm: Senior club
• Teams compete in the Northumberland Badminton League
